I would like to thank you for supplying me with the most exquisite pair of wedding shoes ever.

I opted for a 4” Crystal Pearl (which were incredibly comfortable throughout the entire day, despite the heel height!) and loved every moment of wearing them (and showing them off!) on my special day. They complimented my Jenny Packham wedding gown perfectly and contributed beautifully to the overall ‘vintage’ look I had strived to achieve on the day.

My shoes had to be special. They had to compliment my ballerina length dress and they had to be comfortable as we were getting married in Italy. I didn't know what they would look like, but I knew I'd know them when I saw them. I searched far and wide; bridal shops, the internet and every Bridal magazine I could find. I saw some beautiful shoes, but they weren't what I was looking for. Finally, I found Emmy and made an appointment to visit. I didn't so much recognise my shoes, as design them. From style to fabric, my perfect shoes were gradually created. I even found a headband to match, the final touch to bring my outfit together. Thanks to Emmy, I felt like a princess on my wedding day.

Some people like jewellery, some people like flowers, but as a true shoe-ista there was no other suitable wedding present from my husband than a pair of custom-made shoes. Myself and my friend, Becky, had such a wonderful day out coming to London from Devon to design my shoes, on what from thereon became known as "Shoesday". I can remember spending about half an hour just agonising over three t-bar designs! Everyone was so friendly and we both felt like we'd died and gone to heaven in the shop. I'm so glad I chose a pair of shoes I can wear again because I'd hate for them to never see the light of day again.

I spent the entire wedding day showing them off to everyone, and they even got a mention in my Dad's speech!

I must have searched every wedding shoes stockist in London, but no one matched emmy. I knew exactly what I wanted, and emmy took the time to listen and help create my dream wedding shoes. They were even able to customise the bows from off-cuts of my wedding dress, making the end result personal and unique, as well as stylish and beautiful.

My shoes were worth every penny – I felt a million dollars wearing them on the day. I am now considering having them dyed scarlet so that I can wear them every Christmas!

I wore my Emmy shoes with the lovely antique rose from 2pm when i left home until 2am when the reception ended and they were amazingly comfortable and i think i was the only one at the wedding who did not need PARTY FEET......
